from supervising director Ian Jones-Quartey:

This is the rough animatic of Garnet and Amethyst’s fusion dance from Coach Steven! It’s got the scratch music track that we animated to: “Freak” by Estelle.

This was a super fun collaboration. I animated Garnet’s dancing and Rebecca Sugar animated Amethyst dancing. We had to synchronize!

Pearl covering Steven’s eyes was done by Raven Molisee and Sugilite appearing was drawn by Paul Villeco.

Animatic editing by Lauren Hecht

Voices by Estelle and Nicki Minaj

Hello! I really love you webcomic uwu can't wait to see what you have next! I also was wondering what colors you were using for sep? sometimes I see his hair is brown and sometimes it's black (or his sweater is like a teal but other times it's green?) ah same with his other clothing pieces (sorry if you've already answered this, i couldn't find much about it on your pages :c)

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! my color choices depend on a lot of things and aren’t always completely uniform. when coloring I consider the lighting situation, the other colors present in the page, and what looks good at the time. sep’s hair is black but occasionally looks brown in different lighting situations, his sweatshirt is teal but sometimes looks blue or green.

Okay, so…. witches! I think we need more of them and just listen to this
First out is my witchsona (from the week-thing this spring) and her eagle familiar. Trying to figure out new spells, charms and recipies for others, and realising that it all means to look for the very core of magic, make it a science! With a sneak peak of the witch she/I can become when the mysteries of the universe have unfolded for her/me!
Second page:
A witch with a ladybug familiar exploring circle-magic, A witch with a wagtail familiar who works with magic and probability-charms to increase/decrease or just calculate,
and a personal favorite, a witch with a lemur familiar and future-seeing powers. Keeping her distance, always traveling, almost as if she’s fleeing from something. No one talks about it, but it makes them uncomfortable as the fear that the “something” might be something yet to come. She’s often seen with a sporty weather-witch, with a preference for mist, and her platypus familiar.
And at last, a witch with a mushroom familiar. While it is known that mushrooms are neither plants nor animals, it creeps everyone out, especially since their work seems to be something microscopic, and going on the constant illness they seem to have, dangerous.
Third page:
A witch with a wolf familiar who concentrates on nature and trees, working together with lumberjackers with spells to build things without harming the wood.  A young city witch (a real “black sheep” höhö) trying to get control of her transformation spells!
A witch not actually working with magic, just trying to live a normal life with their familiar, a very very poisonous frog living in their garden of predatory plants.
A very calm witch who flies all over the world in her couch together with her sloth familiar, creating charms in form of jewelry.
